In addition to whatever application materials you ask for in your recruitment, you must also add the following requirement:

The USCIS requires certain language to appear in PRINT advertisement

In anticipation of the possibility of hiring a foreign worker who will require permanent residency once hired, the USCIS requires a print advertisement.  It also requires mention of the following:

  1. That a PhD or advanced to candidacy is "required" (not preferred) for this position, as well as the field it should be in, you may use the language "or related" to broaden your criteria.
  2. Job Duties, including teaching university students.
  3. Job Title appearing in the text of the advertisement (not the title).  We must mention the word “Professor” and not “Faculty.”
